RMNP

Last week Marc had some training in Rocky Mountain National Park so we decided to camp up there for a few nights. Here are a few pictures from our time up there.

A sad picture. The forests out here are dying from pine beetle. The campground we stayed in had a major facelift and it wasn't good, a lot of trees cut down.

The views from the camp were incredible though.

Snack in the camper, grapes.

A few elk wandered through our campsite one morning.

After the elk had passed through camp Marc and Adria acted as trackers and looked for their prints. Here Adria is stomping like the elk did through camp.

Future Search and Rescue Tracker?

Family photo at a lake that we hiked to from camp.

A pretty little stream along the hike.

Snack break.

On a very nice evening we traveled over Trail Ridge Road which goes above 12,000 feet. We stopped at a trail and hiked about a 1/2 mile up to an observation point. Adria loved the snow!

She was quite the little trekker up there. I had to hurry in front of her for this photo.

Taking a breather at the observation point.

Somebody was kind enough to offer to take our picture.
