Have you heard of garden railroading? I hadn't until this weekend. It’s similar to traditional model railroading yet runs outside using larger trains and real flowers, shrubs and trees for landscaping. Members of the Northern Colorado Garden Railroaders opened their homes for a tour of the trains and tracks running through their yards on Saturday so we visited a view of the gardens.
Adria loved the trains! She didn't want to leave any of the gardens, was able to see an animal at each place, and after each visit asked for more trains. We ended the fun train day with a ride on a small train in one of our city parks.
This was the first and last garden we visited. Yes, we went to it twice. It was awesome! We only had the camera the second visit so this is the only garden we took pictures of.

The engineer of this railroad dug out his yard to create it, and worked on the landscape and construction of the railroad simultaneously.
A view of our train ride after the garden visits.

Can you guess what Adria is saying?
