Over Adria's spring break in April we traveled to Moab, UT. It's about a 6 hour drive from Loveland. Marc had been there before and was excited to show us Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. On our drive home I was thinking about how we create manmade playgrounds for kids (which are fun to play on) but our Creator has truly given us a playground. We played in sand, climbed on rocks, and enjoyed the Utah scenery. It really is a unique and beautiful area.
Arches National Park. Adria loved climbing on the rocks and she even gave us a "rock show" where she proceeded to climb on rocks and do fancy tricks.
Canyonlands National Park
On this trail there were two ladders that needed to be climbed. Great fun for kids!
Snack break.
Right outside of Moab there is a sand hill. It is about 100 feet high and 100 feet wide. We played there for quite awhile one afternoon. You can spot Jayna and Adria is the one a little higher on the hill running down.
Marc and Adria up top.
Jayna got cozy in the sand.
This was in Arches and was supposed to be with the pictures in the beginning of this post.
One afternoon we took a drive through some BLM land. This is a view at Hurrah pass.
