We took a great snowshoe trip in RMNP. The sun was shining, there was no wind, and Adria loved it. She was a good little snowshoer, trekking about 1 1/2 miles. She had fun making snow angels, eating snacks, and counting the flags on the trees. Jayna slept most of the trip, waking up a few minutes before the trailhead. Good way to spend the afternoon!
This is what the forest is starting to look like. Trees blown down because of bark beetle kill. Ugh!
