This past Tuesday was Adria's first day at preschool. She was very excited to go that morning. Once we entered the building you could tell that she was nervous and a little unsure but seeing her buddy who was in the room across the hall helped. I was able to leave the room pretty easily once Adria was playing with the kitchen set. Jayna and I headed home to a quiet house where Jayna promptly took a nap which left me to do a few household tasks. Jayna woke up a bit later leaving us with a little play time before picking up big sis. When we picked up Adria she was happy and she had enjoyed her first day. A few of her highlights as told by her were: taking in snack and sharing it with her class, being the line leader for recess, using the pointer at the calendar, listening to The Kissing Hand and making her own kissing hand, getting her picture taken, and swinging on the swings at recess. Adria is excited to head back to preschool tomorrow so I say her first day was a success!!
