Christmas Tree Search

This afternoon we headed to the mountains in search of our Christmas tree. There is a certain area the forest service opens up each year to Christmas tree cutting which is about an hour north of us. It's fun to see all the trees atop the cars as you're driving to the designated areas. The weather was fairly mild today, about 40 degrees with snow on the ground.

This was the first time Adria wore her snow booties. She made some cute prints in the snow.
A friendly moose offered to take a family photo by our Christmas tree. In exchange for our photo we gave him a muffin. :) (Check out the book If You Give a Moose a Muffin from the library, it's a good one).

Ready to watch the tree tumble.

Back at the vehicle. The tree is actually shorter than Marc and me. When we have our tree up in our house we'll post some more pics.
